Offices and Workspaces

Dedicated humidity control and air treatment that work alongside the office HVAC system.

What you are seeing

Excess humidity in offices can make the space feel uncomfortable even when the temperature is low. It may contribute to condensation on windows and diffusers, musty odours, mould in concealed or poorly ventilated areas, and deterioration of furniture, documents, finishes and sensitive equipment. Dust, fine particles and recirculated contaminants can also affect perceived indoor air quality.

Why it happens

Office humidity changes throughout the day as occupancy, ventilation and cooling schedules vary. Fresh outdoor air brings a substantial humidity load, while air conditioning may be reduced or switched off overnight and during weekends. Meeting rooms, perimeter offices, storage areas and spaces with limited air circulation can therefore experience very different conditions.

The ONYX NOVA approach

ONYX NOVA provides dedicated humidity control that operates alongside, but independently from, the air-conditioning system. Concealed ONYX Core units can automatically maintain more stable humidity and distribute treated air across selected office zones through their own engineered return and supply air paths.

Where improved air cleanliness is required, ONYX Aura can be installed at the return-air side of compatible fan-coil or air-conditioning units to capture airborne particles through active electrostatic purification.

The final solution is designed around office occupancy, operating hours, fresh-air volume, internal layout and the existing HVAC system, helping provide more consistent conditions during working and unoccupied periods.

Technical note: Equipment selection for this application is project-specific. It is never derived from floor area alone, and a residential Core model is not automatically appropriate for every property of this type.

Technical note: Final equipment selection and expected performance depend on site conditions, system design, outdoor-air conditions and professional assessment.
