When should humidity control be planned during villa construction?
The most straightforward stage is while services are being coordinated, before ceilings close.
The MEP coordination stage
Duct routes, unit locations, service access, drainage falls and power supply are far easier to accommodate while the MEP design is being coordinated than after finishes are complete.
What is decided early
Ceiling void allowances, access panel positions, grille locations within the interior design, condensate drainage connections and acoustic separation from bedrooms.
Retrofitting later
Installation after completion is possible, but the available routes constrain the design and the work is more disruptive to finishes.
What we need to review
Architectural and MEP drawings, ceiling plans and the project programme allow us to advise on unit locations and duct routing before construction commits to them.
Technical note: Final equipment selection and expected performance depend on site conditions, system design, outdoor-air conditions and professional assessment.
